Where are the coolant temperature sensor & idle speed control valve located on my 1995 A4 2.6 Quattro.
I intend to clean the ISCV @ the next service,I need to check the coolant temp sensor,the temp gauge reads 70C(used to read 90C)I am convinced that the thermostat is stuck open,but before major dismantling to change it (along with cam belt,tensioners,water pump)I will check the easy bit first! I can get the qauge to read 90C (temp is 90C-confirmed by testing with a thermometer) by blanking part of the radiator with a piece of plastic
