Crazy, Wild, completely wack idea.... but

I have a 2000 (B5) 1.8T Sport Quattro. I have the possibility of buying the engine and gearbox from and accident damaged S4 (B5).

Assuming the engine and gear box are all in perfectly good order anyone got any ideas if a) I can drop them in? b) how much effort might be involved and c)Is there anything else (such as suspension and brakes) that might need some upgrades?

That's no easy task... IMO you are better off selling it and buying an S4 altogether.
