Trim adhesive

Hi, Anyone got any recommendations for the best stuff to use to stick the lower door trim back on?
One of the clips has broken and now the trim sticks out at one end.

Why not just get a new clip?

You need a new trim piece, about £18 from a dealer (they usually have them in stock.
The trim slides onto metal posts on the door, the plastic gets brittle and lets go. You just need to remove one screw inside the door and the trim will slide off.

I have the same problem but I resent having to pay €40 for 1 flimsy piece of placstic/rubber . Would it be better to just buy sideskirts and then you would never need to buy door trims ever again?
