i've got and audi S3 thinking of changing to an audi S4 (B5). i don't do many miles just needed some advice really. thanks

the b5 s4 is a very nice car and you will be getting proper torsen quattro instead of hadlex. go for it! lots of tuning choices too if you want them.

get one mate! dont even think about it anymore!

you wont be dissappointed! my mates got a imola yellow S4 99! its an andrenaline rush when u experience 2.7litre V6 Bi-TURBO engine! 6 speed gear box its a car even i wish i had.

perfect for cruising it definetely stands out, and when you feel like you want to floor it, the car turns in to Beast!

start looking and get some test drives you wont be dissappointed!

and should you ever if you need MORE power?:) no probs buy the RS4 K04 turbo kit! your good for 450+ BHP! :arco:

a simple remap can also get you up to 320BHP ish!

At the weekend I went cross country, A and B road blast, round trip 160 miles. Used the 320BHP and 500NM torque (MRC custom map) as and when I wanted/needed to. Not much gets in your way and nobody bats an eyelid. Got home and the average MPG was 27 and I had well over half a tank remaining. Not many cars you can do that in.

YES,..BUY ONE!!!!!! :o.k:

@GSB1 - 27 ****** mpg???????????????? My car wouldn't do that if its life depended on it lol............24mpg on a mixed run is the best I've ever seen.

Yep. That was giving it the beans on a cross country run. No traffic mind, moving all the time. Put it in traffic stop start and some short journeys and it will dive under 20 mpg happilly.

there was a kingfisher s4 on the net for ages whilst I was searching for mine

two places I searched as they were fairly local to me were

Fontain Audi and Croft Motors. Both specialise in Audi and VW.

Stop fooking about and get one!! Spent the weekend up and down the M1 to my sisters and it returned 30mpg on a 400 mile round trip of Mway and A roads!! Loved every minute of it, whipped a 1.8t S3!!
