My 2nd B5 S4 Avant

I have the opportunity at another S4 with very low mileage but just out of warranty.

However after driving it there is a humming noise from the front drivers side wheel area. The noise does increase and decrease with speed.

Anyone with any experience of such noises? It is going into Audi tomorrow to have a pre extended warranty check before I purchase, I hope it isnt anything serious.

Its been 1 year since my last Audi, I meant B6 not B5

Could be bearings or pad may be even warped disc

Turns out it is bearings. Audi dealership charging 450!

check tyre pressures i have a s4 and i got noise from passenger side adjusted tyre pressures to recommendede ones and that done the trick this is a bit late

Get a specialist to do the work it will be a lot cheaper
