Been shopping again

Well I picked up a couple of parts of eBay one was a BMW E46 Compact boot spoiler.




and a rear exhaust box which was a nice touch at £20 all though shipping was £40 so pros and cons.





Anyway I spent the morning down the body shop trying to get the spoiler to fit and at first I was going to see if I could get it to fit over the rear quarter part of the wing but it came apparent it would look crap. So off came the end and then heating it up to fit the profile of the boot.

So after some reshaping and 3 screws it all seems to fit well and just need some paint which will be done during the week. The exhaust will have to wait as I need to get a quote to see how much it will cost to fit.

Looks like it was made to fit very nice touch better than the standard one i recon.

Yep it has a longer profile then the M3.

Back box not fitted yet and may get them to make up a the rest of the system as the original looks a bit rusty.

nice! whos going to do the rest of the exhaust is it going to be a complete custom job? 2.5" or 3"?

If I go 3" now with stock Turbo I may end up killing the Turbo so i think a 2.5" or if I can get way with it a 2.75".

cool, does the Doc have any future plans for a bigger turbo? which remap have you got if you dont mind me asking?

I got a GB deal on an Upsalute for £250 and as for Turbo upgrade I have plans and I have been prepping the car ready for the conversion but I was some what shafted when someone stole my none insured Golf of my drive.
