Right anyideas on this one?
Got an A4 TDI (90) Recently changed the oil and filter. (Put Valvoline full synthetic in) Now it seems to make a knocking noise at higher revs (over 2500 rpm) Almost sounds like exhaust manifold gasket has gone and is making a snapping noise but can't see any sign of that? Definitly coming from one cylinder but not sure which. Also a sight judering when accelerating. I have read on here that some oil can cause injector slap? What is this and does it sound like I have it?? I'm really hoping it's not the head gasket thats gone as this will mean RIP car!
