can any one help locate this in the engine
i run vag.com and it said i need one of these
Barometric Pressure (Altitude) Sensor (F96)
i have ordered it from the stealers but they couldnt tell me where it is

I searched Elsawin and took a guess at your engine code being a 1.8T AEB.
On this engine
The altitude sender is located in the electronics box next to the Motronic control unit.
The Motronic control unit is located in the large black box to the right of the battery as you look at the engine bay.
If you post up up your engine code I'll see if it makes a difference to the location.

this is what it printed out

No fault code found.

does this mean theres something wrong with the abs aswell?

You've got a 1.8L motor so the location of the barometric sensor is as per my post.
With the ABS it says "No fault code found" so no you don't have a problem. The info is just the type of ABS controller

nice one hope this sorts my problem out.
used vag-com on mates g60 carrodo and all that came up was abs no error so im it means no probs with hes
cheers
