I can't seem to get any power above 4.5k when driving on the motorway. Usually I can get to 70mph with no probs in 4th gear,now it struggles in 5th. Any ideas? The car is a 98' 1.8 20v non turbo.

Boost leak? It's non turbo. Unplgged the MAF sensor then started the car and seemed to run fine. Plugged it back in and went for a run and was ok. Will check into it again after e38.
I wouldn't have thought an n/a 1.8 would have much in 5th at 70mph anyway

It's usually ok until 3 figures but it didn't have much for some reason. The cat is going so was wondering if that would have anything to do with it. The flexijoint on the downpipe is blowing.
