    Check list for remap

    As I come from an area steeped in rally history there are many rally drivers who live in my area.
    One of m8s employees is married to a rally driver and he will possibly arrange for me to get a remap done.
    What I need to know is what equipment is reccomended to have on my car.
    I have a carbonio CAI and a baileys dv30 will this be enough to make sure that no parts will fail due to the remap?
    The car is running trouble free so far.
    I only have the standard 1.8T sports exhaust would I need to change this?

    Current Mods: RNS-E MMI Conversion,Carbonio CAI,
    Baileys DV30 valve, Tinted windows, Xenon H.I.Ds, Bosch Aerotwins.


    Planned mods: Rieger Kit,Engine Tuning, Leather sports seats.
    Accomodation when the missus kicks me out for wasting money on a car.

    To squeeze as much as you can out of the remap i would change the hole exhaust and cat if possible, but not many people bother to change the cat.

    How about brakes?
    Is the standard MAF ok?
    And do I need to upgrade the n75 valve?
    Any more input would be a great help.

    The car will be fine as it is. Some say the standard cat will get too hot though and could melt so maybe a decat would be worthwhile.
