central locking not working!!!!

My central locking has packed up. My remote registers cos the l.e.d flashes on the door card, but the lock pins do not go up or down, there's a motor running near my fuel flap that is very noisey when i try to operate the remote, is this anything to do with the fault, Anyone had this or come across this before.

sounds like you have a leaky pipe somewhere from the pump to one of the locking motors. you'll have to trace the pipework to locate the leak, there's a splitter i think behind the RH rear wheelarch that branches off to each door, be worth plugging each pipe in turn to isolate which line the problem is in

Had rear quarter off today, central locking motor behind just seems to vibrate, and whirr, same whirr occurs when starting and switching off lasts about 15 seconds, audi quoted 247.00 + vat for part help!!
