I am very close on performing a TT 225Hp 1.8T engine swap into my Audi A4 1.8T 150Hp Quattro rally car. Has anyone done it? Can anyone give a suggestion if there might be any possible big problems? Are the 1.8T 150Hp much different from 1.8T 225hp in terms of swaping them?
By visual differences I can spot that I might have trouble with intake manifold - as the engine in A4 is positionod straight the intake would face the cabin and would have restricted space.
Could there be any other possible problems like exhaust manifold?
Could it be wiser to tune the existing engine or better swap the stronger in?
