alloy wheel refurb recommendations plse

hi all thinking about getting my alloys refurbed, it has some minor kerbing. which im not too worried about, However im thinking just to get the scratches on the main part of the wheels done leaving the tyre on wheel. Are there companies that do this? anyone recommend a company? near north/west,west london ish.

Theres a good place on the A10, know its the wrong side for you but I know a couple of people who have used them and they were pretty good. Forget there name but a quick google should find them!

I have to refurb wheels all the time whilst at work and hardly ever take the tyres off due to them being paid for by the insurance company. A few strips of duck tape to protect the rubber when sanding the rims down and then just tuck the masking tape in the gap neatly before painting.

Worth taking them to a bodyshop as supposed to a mobile unit in a van etc. Done at a bodyshop and the end product will be ten times better and not much more expensive.

have had loads of wheels done at spit and polish in sevenoaks, worth the travel if you need them done, i have seen some alloys only last a year with other companies but spit and polish have always got them back to looking new and lasting as well.

get them powdercoated, looks better, lasts longer and you won't have to worry about paint/lacquer coming off , peeling etc

I was in an Audi dealership yesterday and they offered this service to someone for £65 per wheel. I didn't think that was bad. I'm sure if you weren't happy with the job Audi would be more customer focused than some of these franchises...

When I had mine done by chips away a few years ago I'm sure they charged me a similar price as well.
