Ok i only know a little about this, yes i could search but i'd like a specific answer not, generic. I've heard with a turbo you can gain upto 40Bhp is that true? I'm put off by the idea of having to change the dam thing before MOT every year!

no it is not true (outside the pages of MAX power!)
I put on a turbo back miltek on an otherwise unmodifies 1.8t. spools up a little earlier, by few hundred rpm, little quicker to respond, similar top end, may have slightly better acceleration, but i doubt if it has freed up any more that 5bhp!
sounds better and makes a welcome addition to the ongoing list of additions though.
ans as it was £100 of eBay it was a bargain!
don;t go buying big fat exhausts expecting whiplash from the newfound acceleration

If it's cat-back you won't have to - the cat should still be in full working order. Just be aware that some exhaust manufacturers' claims are wildly exaggerated so don't believe all the ******** on their sites.
