Rear Window has stopped working???

Hello,
I went to put my nearside rear window down this morning, only 2find it doesnt work!!All other windows r fine, but this particular 1 doesnt even try to come down, not even a noise. Anyone else had this issue?Its on a 2000 B5 S4.

Sounds like the motor mecahnism for the window may be gone.
Tkae the door cover off and see what is happening (or not happening) when you try to put window down.

Could it just be a switch thats gone? Are you trying just to open it from the drivers switches or the switch on the windows door?

The switch for the left rear window on my drivers switches doesn't work, but the switch on the windows door does.

Sorry if this seems obvious but I'd just thought I'd ask, sometimes the most obvious things can be over looked!

As maccattax said, remove the door card and push the switch to see what happens if anything does. Something may have come lose cutting the power to the motor, or it may have gone completely.
