ECU compatible???

I would like to ask you guys that is it possible for me to use the different ECU number for my car?

I have run my A4 with this ECU number: 8D0 907 557 T with a chip. I want to change it to normal stage (150 BHp) with this ECU: 8D0 907 558 M.

I would say give Bosch a call, they may be able to tell you what the differences are, but in my experience ECU's of different part numbers are not interchangable...otherwise they would have the same number...right?
