Gear Oil

Hi all, I just wonder if anyone has any suggestions of a decent quality gear oil to use ?

I have read a lot on US sites and the stuff they recomend doesnt seem to be available here in the UK

Mineral,semi syth,or full synth??

I'm sure it's mineral, we keep genuine hydraulic fluid in stock too if you dont want to get another named brand

All of the US sites seem to recomend some kind of full synth,"royal purple" seems to be popular,whatever that is??

I've heard of them before, they are racing products that i've heard of. Wouldn't really buy it though lol . Have heard the price is a bit high -.-
