Anybody know if this model year 1.8T needed or had a recall for coilpacks? My business partner told me he had some problems with the car starting when it was damp..

Should I get the engine code?

If the coil packs are playing up, he'd have more than a few problems starting in the damp. If a coilpack goes, it's the same as pulling off one of the HT leads, i.e. running on 3 cylinders. You know when it happens.
