Hey Andy, was wondering what ET offset are the 18"s on your A4? And what size rubber for 18s if the standard Competition alloys run on 205/55/16 ??

Thanks

Tony

Hi Tony
The offset is 30 on 225/40/18 Goodyear F1's. The overall diameter is 5mm bigger (637mm over 632mm on the original alloys), which only equates to 2.5mm tyre wear, so isn't noticeable. Had to get genuine Audi wheel caps though as the replicas were awful, see below:

ET35 is the standard offset for the A4 (B5). The smaller the offset, the more the wheel will stick out from the wheelarch. Offset is the distance the boltface is, from the centre line of the wheel, so a zero offset means half the wheel width is sticking out from the boltface. So ET35 will be fine.
