Finally managed to move to Manchester.
My little Motor started having eractic stalling, at round abouts, redlights etc... I have no idea what is the problem. I went to the garage to do my MOT and the timebelt and I asked for the waterpump and the guy said that there wasn't any problem...
So I do not know what causes it and would like to know ASAP...

Plus If somebody knows a nice Audi specialist around Manchester, I would be grateful.

I also need a bodyshot to repaint the car fully. Any idea?

Cheers Mates!:banghead:

hi i used to own a 1.8 se a4 it had exactly the same problem as you describe it turned out to be the air mass meter it is located between the air filter box and the throttle body just try unplugging it .the plug is underneath this will not cause any problems and it sorted mine till i bought a new one off ebay i think it was about 40 quid ish dont be tempted to run the car with it unplugged for too long as it uses a lot more fuel by the way this problem does not show up on a diognostic check

I had same problem and it ended up being the soleinoid had broke away from the air vacum tube inside of the air filter box. A trip to the breakers got me sorted out .
Also fitted a Baileys DV30 and tbh I havent had any stalling problems since.
