hi everyone my name is michael please to meet you a;ll anyway sorry to sound dumb ut i have a 1999 a4 with the orignal alloys and i want to put 17 or 18 on please can you tell me if i need to alter any thing on the car and what wheels i can get as i want to stick with audi alloys what audi wheels will fit straight on thanks again

17's / 18's will go straight on with no mods needed. You may end up with a 4x4 look though!

what a4 have you got? as phantom says it may end up looking like a 4x4.

if you have a quattro sport then it will look ok as the sit lower and of course the s4 even lower

if have 18s on my quattro sport and they look fine, but on a standard a4 you will want to lower it to may it look any good

thanks for your help all i have is a standard a4 1.8 i lilke the look of the a3 wheels but have been told that these will not fit is this true

Standard 1.8 will sit extremely high!

a3 wheels wont fit as the pcd is 100 and the a4 has a 112 pcd

I've lowered mine about 40mm and fitted 17s from a B6 (2001-05) no probs...

They were 19" RS6 Reps, came with 215/35/19's. which were changed for 225 fronts 235 rears.
