I know that I have been asking a fair fw questions on this forum over the past few months and I would like to thank those members that replied to my thread, much appreciated!!

Purchased an A4 Avant 2.6 V6 with 145k on the clock for a lot less than £2k and have so far completed the following:

Dedadged, Lowered -45mm, Skoda Superb Solid 17" 7.5J ET37 Alloys, Clear Side Repeaters, Sony Face-off Stereo, New Passanger Wing Mirror, New Interior Trim Handles....

Future plans include Tinted Windows and some Audi Centre badges for that wheels that are in the post somewhere......

So, just thought I would show you what I have and what it looks like:

This is my girlfriend's car as I drive a Skoda Superb, hence my winter wheels being on the Avant but I have to admit that for a 10 year old motor it's a good drive!!

Lowered -45 that still looks a little high what springs did you use and are they bedded in yet ?

Lookin good, quite like the B5 Avant TBH...
It's not a bad looking or riding motor TBH either mate, I am glad that we have it now 'in the family' so to speak and I was surprised at how good it is.....

How easy were the interior handles and how much they set you back?
Managed to get all 5 trim pieces from the 'stealer' for just under £70 so I was happy with that and changing them is pretty straight forward if you follow the door card remoal thread if things get a little tricky...

I completely agree with you mate, I was not convinced it was -45mm but the ride height as standard is high anyway, believe me it's not low enough for me but my girlfriend is happy with is and the handling and height is better than it was and for the £60 we paid for the springs from GSF I am happy with it.

The other thing to bear in mind is that I now have those 17's on so the right height has gone up a bit from the original 15's that were on there.....

Looking good, i spotted those wheels at the skoda dealer down the road from me, they look pretty gd on the a4:thumbsup:

They certainly look better on the A4 than they do on my Superb, look a lot bigger on the A4 but I guess that's to be expected....

This one was a real bargain and the owner had it locked up in it's garage for most of it's live!! Even the floor and walls were carpeted so I couldn't find anything wrong with it.........

The springs are 'GSF Sporting' springs from GSF and as expected they were only £60 and have achieved the look my girlfriend wanted.......but in reality you can't beat coliover's in my opinion.......the ride looks good but now with the 17's on it is a little bouncy for my liking but then the KW's I have on my Superb were near £1k so you get what you pay for!!

All in all it was a good buy and the springs have made it look and feel so much better.

As a side post, I bought some wheels for it but I am having to sell them now so please have a look in the classifieds if anyone is interested, they would have looked lovely on this motor:
