Long shot..Does anyone if i have wear indicators..?

I cant see any cables through the wheel would they be obvious?
I can get the pads with or without it seems..

Its a '98 S reg 2.8 Quattro

Get them with and if your car does not have the sensor wiring then just cut the wires with a pair of side cutters and discard them.

Is the opposite also true? I want to get fastroad pads but they don't do them for the B5.5 with wear indicators.

You could remove the wear indicators from a set of pads and just plug them into your wiring then tie them up out of the way. This will stop your warning lights coming on.

Or just solder the wires together and never worry about the light again!
Techs will pick up on pad wear at service time anyway.

I didn't think that wear indicators came in until the facelift of early '99?
Am not an expert so could very well be wrong......lol.
Can confirm though that the pads on my Oct/Nov 98 built S reg TDI (vented discs) do not have wear indicators ...........
