finally got my car back after the geometry nightmare and put a 100 miles on it a couple of days.
Polybushed powerflex throughout front and rear, KW V3 coilovers set at around 20mm lower than standard.

Totally transformed the car, can't believe how much better it is.
Turn in is sharper, power on through corners is better, more neutral handling all round, has effectively removed the tendency to wash out the front on acceleration out of bends.

best money I have spent so far.

yeah they do really sharpen the car up, i got them fitted on the front of mine, gettin them big *** rear bushes back in the subframe was fun! well worth it though! =)

I'm also looking at uprating to Powerflex, is it really a DIY job? Any special tools needed?
Presumably you need to get the tracking redone afterwards?

hi, it was easy for me as i had my mate press out the standard bushes, the powerflex just push in. once you get the standard bushes out its cake.

Seen it done using just a heavy bolt & washer in a vice in order to push out the old rubber, so may give it a go myself.
