Water spray bottle empty alarm thing

Is it just me or does the dash start complaining that you have no water for the wiper sprayers when its like half empty? mine comes on when I have loads left and its really annoying, if its not just me then does anyone know if its possible to re-calibrate or even remove the sensor (as its quite obvious when you dont have any water left when you try to spray ).

Just one of those annoying things as the warning takes the place of the CD track/radio station and beeps everytime I get in the car..

Its basically so that you have plenty of time to fill it back up. If it only came on when you had very little left you could get caught out and end up in an accident.
I have the joy that my dash seems to be pumped and that I dont get the alarm chimes but i get the display on my OBC.
