CLIMATE CONTROL DISPLAY PROBLEM!???!?!

Well it looks like I have my first problem with the A4 Avant......

The Climate Control display seems to intermittantly flicker on and off, seems to still be working but the display's just does as it pleases....

Hearing a few stories from fellow work colleagues but can anyone tell me the remedy?!?!? New unit? New Fascia?

On mine it was dry joints where the ribbon cable joins to the pcb. strip it out its all modular, prize open the covers and resolder the connections..

Hmmm.....I am not confident with soldering, I will have to get my mate to help me with this one than.
