Sub Box is Finished :)

Hiya all (PICS BELOW)

Well its done i painted the box in the end in panther black to match my dash and door trim.

Im very happy how its turned out and it sounds great.

While ive been in the garage ive also fitted new RS4 engine mounts as the std ones and fallen to bits.

The RS4 mounts are great and fit great also, I got them from vag parts for £112 all in. Now when i take off from the line there isnt any bangin and gear changes are smooth and faster. The only down side to these mounts is that you get a bit more nosie and vibes from the engine, but i can live with that.

While i had the front bumper off to get on the ramps i also move my Evoms FMIC down a little to fill the whole gap of the RS4 bumper. think it looks a lot better now.

After you I decided to paint the trim in piano black. How did you manage to get that glossy? HELP!

lots and lots of rubing down between coats and then a final rub down and polish to a gloss
