Help! Advice on Spare Key please!

Can someone help me? I've just been quoted £81 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif (£39 key, £30 to code it +VAT) for a spare key for my 97 P-reg A4. Does anybody know if it's possible to get them any cheaper??

I'll have a look at VAGparts and see if they can save me anything - if its only a couple of quid I'll just get it done at Audi /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I'm pretty sure you can do the coding with VAG-COM.
You do need a code, but I believe the dealer has to/will supply this for you if you ask for it.
Check out the VAG-COM site for details of how to code it. If you don't have VAG-COM, but are somewhere near Caterham your welcome to borrow mine
