hi i want to change my existing grey cloth lid to leather i wonder if anyone can re-trim this might cheaper option?

cheers

im sure some of the "leather trim" on A4 is vinyl?
thats an idea however i also need to re-trim one of the door cards :(

If you just want a lid for your centre armrest your best bet is VagParts.
A buffalino leather lid for my car in blue was only about £30 plus vat, and came from Germany in a matter of days. At that price I wouldn't attempt DIY IMHO........

I presumed that was a joke.
That's exactly what you want in your Audi, a badly fitted vinyl interior knocked up on your home sewing machine.
Definately something left to the pro's.
Keep an eye out on ebay as full interiors do come up. I got my black half leather/alcantara interior including door cards for £400. And then you have the old interior to sell as well, got £100 for my old cloth.

I rang them up, in fact they wouldn't do much at all without a scan/photo of the car data sticker so they could see for themselves exactly what colour combination of interior trim the car has; there are so many combinations the risk was too great of getting it wrong!
They couldn't be more helpful if truth be told, I'd always ring them up as they seem a little hit and miss when replying to emails (presumably due to the sheer number of enquiries they get), but once you get 'em on the phone you're sorted.
