Non start

Help please ppl,
I went to the gym in my a4 2001 2.4 V6(b5) and after the gym i went to go home (as you do lol), and started it up as always and it cut straight out, now it wont start, everytime i go to start it, it cuts straight out again. Thanks!!!!!!!!

Sounds like an immobiliser problem or something

Search for the immobiliser problem in the B5 forum.
Unfortunately it's a problem that comes up quite often with this model.

if it cuts out after 3 seconds sounds like the immobilisor. have u had any new eletrical stuff done new stereo etc. might have a battery drain loose connection or wrong wiring.
