A4 Bulb Sizes??

What size of bulbs does a 1.8t sport 97 reg take? I was lead to believe they are H4's. Is this due to the fact that the fog lights are housed in the headlight aswell??

Did they change to H7's when they stopped putting the foglights in the headlights?

Not sure about yours, but my facelift car takes H7 bulbs.

Reason I am asking lads is I am going to buy standard A4 projector style headlights for my A4.
As you can see from my sig my headlights are the old style split indicator and headlight units.
I am getting xenons ordered and just need to make sure i order the correct bulbs. Basically need the bulb size for dipped-beams. I am sure the projector style lights do not have fogs built in to them.

Nope no fogs in the facelift lights, they are H7 also, i had to buy new HID bulbs for mine as the Angel eye ones were H1

h7s for dip and main beam in my 97 a4,has h1 fogs in the main housing also.i use philips visionplus for dip 55w and 100w for main beam,works well.
