Flexi size?

Could someone maybe do me a favour and measure the length of the flexi bit on their downpipe.

I need a new one big time and need to know the length.

Bit of a tall order I know but thought it would be worth a shot as mine is stretched out to the maximum.

also jumping in here does anybody know the std size of the piping on the 1.8T exhaust cheers

I think the standard piping size is 2.5".

I will measure mine tomorrow with caliper gauges at my mates workshop.

The pipe is 60mm in diameter mate.

Plus for anyone wondering the flexi diameter is 50mm

Soupie, did you manage to get you exhaust flexi sorted, im in need of replacing mine and it seems the easy way is to replace the flexi rather than the whole downpipe, can you remember the length of the flexi and is deffo a 50mm bore size that i need, Cheers Jim

Definately is 50mm. I got a 4" lentgh flexi but I would now buy 5" or 6".

Mine worked ok though as I had 2 dual exhaust clamps so I could make up the difference using them.
