Hello All!

Pick my 1998 A4 up on friday.. cant wait /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Any tips on keeping it up to scratch.. ive no knowledge whatsoever on these engines

its the 1.8 T sport version

whats the best oil to use?

i use Mobil 1 Motorsport 15-50w in my RS.. is that ok on these engines too? .. or is there a better alternative for these engines?

Hello mate, you'll be amazed at the difference between your old Escort and the A4. Counting the days eh!

It's best to let Audi service the car, keeps it value and they check a number of things that you wouldn't think to do.

.. i noticed the difference round the twistys certainly..
really nice drive.. v.responsive handling and brakes are loads better!!..

not sure whether to mod it tho or keep it standard as i dont want to ruine the ride etc but its just it feels slow compared to my RS (which runs 23psi [250bhp] and v.light as its stripped out)

.. any tips on creating a bit more power without hampering reliability? .. which is a major prob with the RS /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif

or any good tuners in the south west?

.. im thinking it may just need a good setup as its now done 109k and the previous owner a motorway cruiser.. so may just need a re-setup to perk it up a bit..
