Now we are safely in 2007 hopefully recovered from the hangovers?

just would like some thoughts on what your goals are for 2007?

mine here are just a few
1. tidy up garage
2. fit a subwoofer with amp
3. colour code lower black trim
 
Keep her running
Cam belt change
LED Tail light conversion
RS4 Brakes & Suspension
Finish Blue LED dash conversion
Big Turbo conversion

Just for starters
 
Fit my RS4 front brakes to match the rears.

Milltek system.

New MAF sensor.

New petrol tank sender.

Damn good service :)

New headunit (yep, my volume thingamy is dead too).

NEXT year will be suspension and some more power :)
 
new alloys bought (tommorrow wahey)

exhaust

service - due soon

rs4 grill + change lower grill to match

windows tinted
 
forged con rods, bearings and shells, full rs4 intake and heads, tubular manifolds, fmic and 550 bhp
 
Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, throttle body clean, 2 lower arms, fit Eibach bits, headlights, rear lights, front brakes, acquire some new alloys...

Looks like i'm gonna be busy!

get running again once alternator sorted

new bumper grilles without holes
fit milltek
a good ****** service
have a fiddle with mk1 golf and get back on road
buy a new house
welcome a new person to the world
 
Fit custom Downpipes & Race Cat + remap to ~480-520HP?

Fit second amp + wire up subs to that now the wiring/power can handle it

Upgrade rear brakes

Um, there is virtually nothing left really to do? I think I have done it all

Same LEDs as mine! Good choice!
They look sweet but mind the warning lights will go nuts when you wire them in. Ive not put pay to it yet as it just flashes at you constantly but the beeps dont last long.
 
Thats cool. I got told how to sort mine but havnt had the time yet.
Might get a pair of silvertec indicator bulbs for the LED clusters as the amber bulbs are more noticeable.
 
Bigger turbo
bigger injectors
New clutch bigger brakes
some extra ICE
full custom ehxaust so I might have a second hand Milltek for sale for an avant
few other bits and bobs to tidy the car up

Got the lights (front and back) sorted today :) . That leaves the waterpump, thermostat, throttle body and auxiliary belts tomorrow :yes: . Springs/dampers this weekend :whip: . I'll be happy to go back to work on monday, just for a break! :nyah:

Yeah where can i get the remapping done I'm in west cumbria, travelling isn't a problem.

Oh and get my engine cover from the Doc LOL

S4 front bumper, Drilled rear disc's and EBC brakes to match the front, Angel eye's, Decat, fulll stainless custom exhaust, get my wheel's resprayed, keep it clean !

Would not be for a while I dont think, will probably still do odds and ends.


Its just I have had the car almost 3 years now and dont know whether to save some mod money and buy something else like an RS2. I may go out of this phase and just stick with the A4 though just have been looking at them and really like them as 1 there are an RS model and 2 could not afford an RS4!!

Just would be worried I made a mistake and the RS2 was a money pit as my A4 has been really good to me so far. Touch wood! Would love to keep the A4 to and put a bigger turbo etc on it but just dont know at the moment.

Am also toying with the idea of just selling up and buying a Corrado as that would be cheaper as £3k would buy a pretty good one and I have liked them for ages.

God knows what I will do!! Least thats off my chest.

You got to do what you got to do as they say but if you go you will be missed. :crying:
 
Fit S4 front back and sides.
Complete Stainless equal length runner tubular turbo manifold (Found a 316l Marine grade stainless tubing supplier..much better than 304).
Fit VF34 turbo
brake upgrade (undecided on what to do here)
MRC remap

looking for around 330-340 by July
 
Sort interior seats (& mould)
sort suspension
sort tyres & additional spare wheel
get CB radio fitted
etc,
etc,
...
...
& manage to get through (and back) 5 countries in 4 days! (I have faith in the audi!)
 
another thing i must do in 2007
is chrome dial rings
 
Some nice big power plans there

My plans include
1.Get the car through its MOT on Friday (Fingers Crossed)
2.Re-lacquer then flat and polish the Monoblocs to get rid of scratches
3.Replace totally Dead 225 40 18 tyres with perhaps 215 35 18 for a little bit of stretch and to help cure catching issues
4.Cut down 20 wheel bolts by 3mm so i can use the 15mm spacers i have
5.Get rid of boot spoiler and smooth lock plynth
6.Front Number plate recess delete, US Stylee
7.Build and paint Side Panels for current boot ICE install
8.Retrim All alcantara bits in cabin

TYhants about it for the minute, best get cracking to get it all done by may

Edit More. Replace 2 piece projectors with 1pc face lift lights
