my 2.8 quattro is fittted with 16 inch wheels with an offset (et) of 45

so apart from other et45 wheels what can i fit???

ive seen a set they are 18inch with a et of 43 will these fit??

also ive noticed most audi aftermarket alloys seem to be et35 and there doesnt seem to be many et45 around can i fit these

and does the higher the number mean further out towards the arch and the lower means in towards body?

im thinking of fitting 18s is this the best size ? or should i go 17 or 19

alan

i have 8x18 et 48 running 225 40 18s and they fit (albeit they are close to the suspension got spacers to go on with archwork over winter) so you will be fine with 45

"and does the higher the number mean further out towards the arch and the lower means in towards body?"

Opposite way mate lower et = wider track, higher et = narrower track

imo 18s are best size 19s just look a little large on B5's

i'd go for 18" not sure about the offset. i got mine for £550 inc, tyres+fitting from sellyoak tyres. at least you have some comeback if they are wrong! they had them in stock with tyres on so you can see one on the car, they had a decent choice too. sold the old ones on ebay for £200 so did well really.
