    Crashed My Baby

Yesterday after watching my beloved Oxford United some idiot in a blue Saxo flew on to the roundabout outside the ground as i was going round, He cut me up i had to swerve to avoid hitting him hitting a high curb at 30mph which caused alot of damage to my nsf wheel , arch , arms, skirt and probally suspension. Wish i bloody hit him now. Heres some pics

Ouch! That looks worse than what I did to my GTi a while back (similar situation, swerving to avoid an idiot). That was £1500 just for the suspension work, luckily there was no bodywork damage.
Even if you got the reg you don't have a leg to stand on unfortunately. Insurance companies aren't interested in going to court.

damn that looks proper fcuked. gutted.

I reckon that they should limit all young drivers to cars below 900cc. They do it for bikes, why not cars? Perhaps that'll curb their enthusiasm and recklessness.

    Mayhem,

Sorry to see that. I've also learnt from experience not to swerve to avoid even though it is the first instinct - this is especially true of hitting animals as well.

Doesn't look like the leading edge of the sill is damaged but that the wing has bent up as it has deformed. I have the front wings off my S4 I am breaking for sale but they are for a facelift car so have the larger repeater light holes and no indent for the Audi badge. You could use both if you wanted to update the look of your car!
At least the front wings are easy enough to replace. They are just bolted on by 3 bolts along the wing top, 3 down the pillar and 3 torx bolts under the sill.

Won't help with stupidity though will it, I drove carefully when I got my first car with 75BHP and I then drove carefully when I got my 210BHP S3 next whilst still being young ish. Age isn't relevant in my opinion, IQ perhaps would be a better measure. The only way what you suggest could be done is on power to weight basis or it's pointless as I'm pretty sure I've seen a smart thingy with a turbo that'd be a small enough engine for whatever you suggest and faster than that saxo.

Sorry to hear about your troubles and hope you get it sorted without too much hassle and cost.
