I had a slight knocking noise in the car and I decided to get it checked out. It turns out that the rear two lower control arms have gone. I've already replaced the rest of the arms in the past six months so I guess it was inevitable. I was quoted £260 for the job from a specialist (which I guess isn't bad as one of the front ones cost me £180 in May). Does anybody have any experience with this and does it sound like an ok price? I might be beter off buying the parts separately and getting them fitted. Any ideas?
Thanks

I'd like to know that the parts have some sort of guarantee or at least someone to throw them back at if they fail due to poor casting...
Having said that, he appears to be a well established seller, with good feedback. You make your choice, you take your chances...

I bought them anyway. The cost me £66 for two and fitting is £90. So all in all I'm saving £100. Not too bad. I'll probably change the car in the next year or so anyway so it should be ok,
Thanks for the response
