    Angry CV Boot Leaking

Had 4 new tyres fitted today and when the front passenger side was removed the gator around the cv joint was split, is this a hard/expensive thing to sort out???

Had to happen now with my money gone on new tyres and an mot due in a week or 2

depends how handy you are TBH, its an MOT failiure. You need a 14mm hex bit and some basic tools to remove it, or to cheat, take the whell off and get a glue together gator(cost around a tenner) cut the old one off and glue this in place. Do not treat this as a permenant fix tho ok, but it will last a few months and protect the CV short term
