lot of people seem to be fitting larger/bumper mounted inter coolers, but has anyone tried fittng a cooling fan to one. the theory of an intercooler is similar to that of a radiator and they all have fans of some type.

i have thought about it but after fitting the evoms fmic there isnt any room left.

Is the fan on a radiator not mainly for when the car is stationary? If the car is sationary then its at idle and then inlet EGTs are lower (as the engine isnt on boost) so no need for extra cooling. Might help reduce heat soak i suppose. Just my 1p worth...
