2.8 Quattro Auto

I have seen some Automatic 2.8 Quattro advertised for sale.

Are these Auto a tiptronic box or are they normal autos?

Or could it be either?

They're both. You get a five-speed auto, with Tiptronic mode on the side. It's operated by moving the gear selector lever across to another slot, then pushing forward for up-changes, & pulling back for down changes.

Some had steering wheel controls as an option.
