bu what sort of readings should I expect from a good healthy standard setup?

    I'm getting about 7-8 psi ,
Through what rev range should it hold this boost level?

With a proper re-map...that way you make sure the fueling and timing are sorted accordingly.

Slightly off-topic, but do bi-turbo's need two boost gauges?

May sound a bit thick LOL!!!

I have a gauge on my single turbo GTE.

i wouldnt think so you still only have 1 intake mani fold. on the 1.8 the best place to tap into for a boost gauge is a green caplet on the intake manifold, its where the audi mechanics take their readings from.
