Power cutting out.

Well I seem to have a problem and that is sometimes when pulling away hardish all the electrical power in the car for around a second killing the engine to for that second then its all come back on, I have to say I'm somewhat miffed about it but for one thing, could it be some sort of cut out switch at the front that is getting knocked as the only thing I have done of late is fit the FMIC (Front Mount Intercooler)?

ive had no problems when i fitted my front mount not to sure what it could be

Found problem, it was one of the pipe clips stud was cutting in to the main earth strap causing a short.

Good you sorted, was going to say something was shorting. My old MKII golf did that for a while. Turned out to the the angle I had mounted the startermotor power lead as the engine twisted with torque it touched the raidiator fan couling lol! Was a right pain to sort.
