i went down the M1 the other day took the car to 70mph but the steering wheel shakes allot im guessing its the balencing but i had it done 4 months ago at f1 autocentres. i think its the tracking because the car drags towards the left slighty. the set up is as below.

i have exactly the same problem, when you go to 80 it goes but then comes back soon after that

Sounds like a balance problem or as you said tracking. Best getting these sorted quickly as both cause uneven tyre wear. Plus they aint to pricey to put right.

just because you had the wheels balanced 4 months ago doesnt mean the are still balanced now.

you could have your wheels balanced today and drive down the road 5 minutes later and hit a decent pothole or kerb etc and it would be out of balance straight away, also bear in mind that the weights they stick/clip on the wheels can come of

also uneven tyre wear will effect balance
