A4 vs A3

How does the A4 2.0 TDI s-line compare to the same but in the A3 form.
I just brought the Sortback A3 TDI s-line and now wondering what the A4 power is like?

I take it the A4 is alittle heavier and so slower? How does it feel

Apparently the A4's are quicker than the A3's, well thats what my mate reconed and he said he did a fair bit of research before opting for the A4 over an A3 but then again he was looking at the newer 2.0 FSI Turbo's.
