Loss of power/ baffled!

I've noticed that when my 2.8Q is in 2nd gear at 2,200 revs it drops to 2,000 again before accelerating as normal up the powerband again. It happens both in Auto and Tiptronic modes. It's only 2nd gear all the rest rise as normal. What’s even more bizarre is that it's only on the initial change up from 1st to second, so once it's happened and then I slow down in 2nd from 3,000 to say 2.000 and then increase speed again it doesn't happen.

Any ideas? Anyone else had this? I’m baffled that it's only 2nd gear and only happening on the initial rev increase!

Had a similar problem in my auto 2.5 v6 cavalier. (i know its not a tiptronic box) but was down to one of the several clutches clutches slippin. for some reason (so vauxhall told me) its not like a clutch slip on a manual vehicle where the revs increase but no speed increase, but the revs drop a little until it grips the flywheel / gear mechanism (not sure which bit) then the box will progress as normal.

as i said, this was an auto box with sports mode but no tiptronic. so not entirely sure if this psot will help but thought i'd share it anyway.

TBH i thought i was likely a clutch issue. Better start saving for when it gets worse!
