how do remove the climate control unit

as title i have the faceift a4 having trouble removing this i haveremoved the the rear console and radio still cant get it out!!
please help

the whole stereo/heater control facia comes off, then after that there are 2 screws 1 at either side then the conecting plug at the back of the unit. thats it. while its out, remove the plastic shielding and check for dry joints where the ribbon cable join the pcb's both sides ..

i think you are referring to pre facelift models
anyhow after some searching i have found out how to do it. just incase anyone else wants to know here is a link
