HEY GUYS
i rang my insurance co advised that im considering lowering my car it will cost me £35 extra on my premuim.

im looking at some H&R Springs to lower it by 30mm
as ive been told these offer a better ride than eibach as they are more custom made for my car

have you guys have any problems with insurance when you tell them about mods?

what i dont want is on renewal finding only a few insurance companies offering a quote which might not be competive next year,

im with admiral at the mo

TIA

anyone any thoughts at all??

believe it or not lowering is one of the most expensive things you can do (bar huge engine mods)..

most mods like exhaust and wheels have only a 10% loading, but lowering (or any other deviation from manufacturers standard suspension specification) can have upto a 30% loading of your policy.

Its one of the reasons i alway go for Adrian Flux for Insurance, I can never be sure what i am due to do to my car in the next 12mnths. My wheels. suspension, and audio, didnt alter my quote, a mention of a chip did tho
