Ran vag-com today and it came up with 3 faults....I'm hoping all 3 faults are stemmed from the very first fault....here goes......
VAG-COM Version: Release 311.2-N

Component: 2.7l V6/5VT 0002

Shop #: WSC 00216
3 Faults Found:

P1454 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
18010 - Power Supply Terminal 30: Voltage too Low

Can anyone tell how many Exhaust gas Temp Sensors my S4 will have? one or two?
What sort of price and are they easy to change?

could fault 1, cause faults 2 & 3 to occur??

Cheers for any advice.

Dan

the middle one is from a low battery, probably from where its been stood, the others may be related, i am afraid they are beyond my scope of knowledge

FYI there are two EGT sensors one on each of the turbos exhaust housing, apparently they are like the o2 sensors in that they go frequently. they're about £80 each from vagparts. but do do as The911SC and check again first you might be lucky with them

Can someone explain to me what VAG-com is and how to run it please?

Pm me if needbe.

VAGCOM is the software you need on laptop or similar in order to interrogate and/or change the settings in the ECU for all VAG group vehicles

Right so something you end up paying for at your local audi or german garages then! hm....

Not necessarily. There is an entire forum on ASN, dedicated to VAG.com.
