Uh oh...problem with my new S4......

Ran vag-com today and it came up with 3 faults....I'm hoping all 3 faults are stemmed from the very first fault....here goes......
    VAG-COM Version: Release 311.2-N

    Chassis Type: 8D - Audi A4 B5
    Scan: 01,02,03,08,15,17,25,35,45,55,56

    Address 01 -------------------------------------------------------
    Controller: 8D0 907 551 C
    Component: 2.7l V6/5VT 0002
    Coding: 05611
    Shop #: WSC 00216
    3 Faults Found:
17862 - Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor 1 (G235): Short to Ground
    P1454 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
18010 - Power Supply Terminal 30: Voltage too Low
    P1602 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17870 - Exhaust Gas Temp Regulation for Bank 2: Implausible Signal
    P1462 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
    Readiness: 0000 0000

Can anyone tell how many Exhaust gas Temp Sensors my S4 will have? one or two?
What sort of price and are they easy to change?

could fault 1, cause faults 2 & 3 to occur??

    Cheers for any advice.

    Dan

the middle one is from a low battery, probably from where its been stood, the others may be related, i am afraid they are beyond my scope of knowledge

I would just clear them and then re check. Sometimes the spurious errors can be related.

FYI there are two EGT sensors one on each of the turbos exhaust housing, apparently they are like the o2 sensors in that they go frequently. they're about 80 each from vagparts. but do do as The911SC and check again first you might be lucky with them

VAGCOM is the software you need on laptop or similar in order to interrogate and/or change the settings in the ECU for all VAG group vehicles

Not necessarily. There is an entire forum on ASN, dedicated to VAG.com.
