I have a slight leak at the back of the car, need to get it sorted before MOT. Anyone had to replace pipes, and what with? I was going to go to Pirtek and get fuel hose and clamps.

the pipes are mostly plastic coated metal, if its leaking i'd expect its at a joint or something?

I presume its a diesel?

They're metal pipes, I had repaired the front from the first rubber mount where it had rotted to about 6 inches up the bulkhead with 10mm internal diameter rubber fuel hose and clamps.
The whole lot, front to back, flow and return is now rubber hose now, all sorted.
£25 out of Pirtek

hmm.

I wouldnt be having rubber hose under the car. Theres good reason they use metal in the first place!

They're fairly safe running in the existing fuel line clips, they're also pretty thick sidewalks and braided. The MOT tester was happy enough, and I don't rally the car, it's also SE and as high as a monster truck anyway lol
