Pretty damn certain that mine are the originals with 171k and several track days under their belt. Just noticing a slight clunk/knock in the steering and a slight feel of wawardness. All the arms have been swapped out with Lemforder items and the track rod ends with S4 items as well as teh bushes being swapped out for PowerFlex items throughout the front end. The inner tie rod and steering rack are the last original bits left.

Is there an easy way I can check these?

its just a balljoint, so checking for play should be similar to any other balljoint, just get a hold of it and see if you can feel any movement.
